Lost and found

Ms. Tjivikua ( left in the photo) accidentally left her brand-new pink luggage in a taxi.

She boarded a taxi from China Town to Wernhil Park. After realizing that her suitcase was missing,she called our Command and Dispatch Centre to assist in tracing the taxi. Our team reviewed the CCTV footage and promptly traced the vehicle, upon which the driver confirmed the luggage was still on board. The driver brought the luggage to the office, and it was handed back to her. Ms Tjivikua was thrilled with CCTV’s efficiency and service.

The Windhoek City Police Service reaffirms its commitment to the use of technology and is ready to render the necessary assistance to residents and visitors alike.
