To the glory of God Almighty, on the 15th of November 2024, the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, alongside Gov. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru and others commissioned the newly asphalted runway of our Chuba Okadigbo International and Cargo Airport, Onueke, Ebonyi State ready to commence operations.

Works at the Wilberforce Chuba Okadigbo International Airport's asphalted runway is now complete, thanks to the leadership of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

The asphalting and marking of the runway of the Chuba Okadigbo Cargo and International Airport, Onueke, Ebonyi State, have all been completed.

While we expect some other minor clearances and works to be completed, it is important to look ahead on how to maximize the potentials of our splendid airport.
