For over 80 minutes, the Moon will turn a deep red colour as it slips fully into Earth’s shadow, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
This stunning transformation happens because sunlight passing through Earth's atmosphere gets scattered. The shorter blue wavelengths get blocked while the longer red wavelengths reach the Moon, painting it in shades of crimson.
