Never try and force anyone to choose you.
Never force try and force anyone to stay.
If they think they can find something better somewhere else, let them go.
Let them find out for themselves if they’re right.
Don’t hold them back.
Because if they stay, you want them to stay because their heart tells them that this is where they belong.
Not because you asked them to stay…
You deserve to be someone’s choice, not just an option.
You deserve someone who understands your worth and who sees your value.
And you deserve someone who appreciates what you bring to their life.
Never try and force someone to stay simply out of the fear of loneliness, attachment, or the love that you hold for them.
Because you want someone who will stay because of who you are, not who they want you to be.
Give them the freedom of choice.
Leave your door open should they want to leave.
And if they think their happiness lies somewhere else, don’t stand in their way.
Because you want someone who is sure about you, not someone who is unsure about whether or not they want you, or how they feel about you.
When the right person comes along, you won’t need to worry about them leaving.
Because even though you’ve given them the freedom to leave, they won’t want to.
They'll stay because of you...
So if someone wants to leave, let them leave.
And in the meantime, continue working on yourself and building your own life.
Because your happiness doesn’t depend on the presence of someone who wants to walk away…
It depends on your own ability to blossom…
