"I’m looking for a dedicated and highly motivated PhD student, either domestic or international, to pursue research under my supervision at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
My research interests include but not limited to:
-Network Digital Twin for Disaster Management.
-IoT–Cloud and Edge Architectures in Post-Disaster Contexts.
-integrating machine learning into SDWSN for Smarter Disaster detection.
-Cybersecurity Challenges in Digital Twin Systems.
This research offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge technology that can transform how communities respond and recover from disasters.
I’m looking for someone who has:
-A relevant master’s (or honours-level bachelor’s) degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or similar.
-A strong academic foundation and English proficiency.
-Hands-on experience in programming, network simulation, and hardware prototyping (e.g., Raspberry Pi).
-Some publication experience in conferences and/or journals is a big advantage!
AUT PhD Intakes: There are four official PhD intake dates throughout the year: • Intake 1 – 1st February • Intake 2 – 1st May • Intake 3 – 1st July • Intake 4 – 1st October
