Chief Nike Okundaye, artist, philanthropist and founder of the Nike Art Gallery, is a pioneer in Nigeria’s cultural landscape – playing an instrumental role in its promotion and preservation over the years.

Educated in art by her great grandmother, a weaver and Adire textile maker/dyer, Chief Nike’s work is inspired by the traditional patterns of Yorùbá culture.
