OUR GUEST OF HONOUR!!! Hon. Samson Nunayon Prince Apata
Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon (Prince) began his political career as Special Adviser on Tourism to the former Chairman of Badagry Local Government between 2012-2014 and during this period, he created a beauty pageant tagged MISS TOURISM BADAGRY INT'L and was well accepted due to its meaningful impact on the Youths and also as a platform that helps in driving traffic to the ancient city of Badagry annually and this further placed Badagry to a rightful position amongst other destinations.
In his bid to have a bigger platform to enhance his passion for Tourism, he later contested for the post of local government chairman of Badagry but couldn't clinch the ticket but bcoz of his antecedents in the industry while in office as SA Tourism, he was appointed again but as cabinet member and decision making team of the same Badagry Local Government as a Supervisor for Tourism, Education and later added Environment to his schedule and during this period, he personally bought a stretch limousine and branded it for sightseeing by tourists while they're on a visit to Badagry and this also gave the destination a great image.
Shortly after the administration ended in July 2021, he was appointed the Chairman, Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria-ATPN, Lagos State Chapter. Because of his believe in life after government, he floated his private destination marketing organization named Eko Destination Ltd and he didn't wait there, as part of his efforts to further promote the destination Lagos and add value to the tourism industry, he established a Tourism Radio with the name Eko Tourism Online Radio since last year Nov till date and it's doing perfectly well.
