1. Write IELTS General training with British Council. If married, it is encouraged that your spouse writes the exam too (to boost your points). Minimum target for PRINCIPAL APPLICANT IS Listening 8, Reading 7, Speaking 7 and Writing 7 and average of 6 for spouse.



2. Evaluate your academic credentials with authorized Canadian institution. If married, it is encouraged that your spouse also evaluates his/her academic credentials. Note: You must evaluate your highest level of education.

4. Document Checklist for all applicant

The following documents are mandatory and must be provided by all applicants.



Applications that do not contain the following documents will be rejected as incomplete, and fees will be refunded accordingly.

· Proof of work experience

· Proof of Funds - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

· Medical examination confirmation

· Police certificates

· Copy of the biographical data page of a passport or travel document









Other mandatory documents (if applicable).

All F and M students that study in the United States need a Form I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status.” Once you are accepted into a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified school, you will receive one of these two forms from yourdesignated school official (DSO) depending on your F or M student visa status:
