IRCC has finally release & approved this client’s application. This is an application we processed since October 2021; only to received a mail requesting for the client’s passport on 3rd March, 2023. The application took a whole 1years 5months - this is the effect of Covid 19 on application processing.

What a news!! Over the year’s we have seen Canada Study Permit applicants wanting to pay school fee with partly or fully as if that will guarantee the success of the application; we have said repeatedly that with Canada paying school fees doesn’t ensure a positive response but rather the ability to do exactly what’s expected by the consulate.
The attach is an evidence - a ruling by a Federal Court in Canada that study permit applicants are not required to pay school fees before applying but a Letter of Acceptance will suffice.
