Moneygreen is developing a web-based platform to help entrepreneurs raise funds instantly through a real-time bidding process.
The moneygreen funding model will circumvent conventional funding protocols by first allowing entrepreneurs to get the very critical funding needed prior to providing other resources necessary for the success of start-ups while at the same time giving them the time to focus on what really matters for their success. In this way, entrepreneurs and other fund-seekers will be provided a fair chance to excel irrespective of what they intend to bring to the start-up table.

THE PROBLEM
Conventional funding platforms inherently have inclination to fund entrepreneurs on the basis of start-up viability assessments, good management teams, minimum viable products and the like.
While this funding outlook is well suited for these platforms to ensure or increase the likelihood of success of start-ups, it however presents a serious drawback as it effectively cuts off a lot of promising entrepreneurs with very brilliant ideas who cannot meet these requirements and their time-consuming processes as pre-requisites for funding. Entrepreneurs also do not have any form of control over the fundraising processes.
Funding is critical to the formation of new enterprises and the sustenance of existing ones. Among other important resources timely access to funding or otherwise determines the life-time of companies and is a factor in the likelihood of a new enterprise coming into existence.
Current economic activities require that funding be available in a faster, cheaper and more convenient manner with the added need for control over how and when to access it.
Current funding platforms however apply funding models out-paced by entrepreneurial activities of present-day economies because access to funding is hobbled by bureaucratic protocols that are inefficient, subjective, time-consuming and out of direct control of entrepreneurs.

What is moneygreen?

Moneygreen is a fundraising platform that eliminates the challenges people encounter in the process of raising money from banks, financial institutions and crowdfunding systems.

Through a unique bidding method, individuals and corporate bodies can raise funds ranging from N2 million to N20 million.

Business Incubation programme
If you bid successfully and wish to start a new venture, you will be admitted into the moneygreen incubation facility where your venture will be nurtured until it can go solo. The funding given to you will represent an equity stake in your venture and will be refunded over a period not exceeding fifteen years.

Business Acceleration Programme
If you are already in business and your bid was successful, you will be funded under this facility and the funding will represent an equity stake in your company which can be paid back over a period not exceeding ten years.

Community Development Programme
If you wish to deploy the funds that will be given to you after a successful bidding to projects that will improve the living standards of a community, moneygreen will not expect any repayment but will closely monitor the activities to which the funds will be channelled. Construction/renovation of public schools, government hospitals, modern markets, skill acquisition centres, electrification, provision of portable water and similar projects are funded by moneygreen.

Moneygreen will be officially launched on a future date in the year.
