Our last East Africa trip was the first time we had more people joining from states outside Lagos. In the past, we typically had 70–80% of participants from Lagos, but this year we witnessed a surge in people joining from other states across Nigeria.
Watching everyone bring their distinctive personalities and perspectives to conversations and interactions felt very heartwarming. People laughed, bantered, extended grace, exercised patience, bonded, played games, cheered each other on, and peacefully coexisted for seven days.
Occasions that could have easily spiraled into moments of conflict were handled maturely, and everyone remained focused on the goal of having a great time while experiencing two new countries.
Activities are great, exploring a new country is superb, and sleeping in new cities is memorable. However, one of the best parts of every group trip is the human interactions you get to experience. You encounter strangers from different walks of life, learn new things, make new friends, laugh at random jokes, and create shared memories with a new set of people you may have never met before and may never meet again.
Consider this your invitation to join our next East Africa trip to Kenya and Rwanda from July 22nd to 28th. With just ₦1 million, you can make a deposit to guarantee your place on the trip.
