Beyond the celebration of the Fanti Carnival lies a deeper story — One of identity, memory, and cultural continuity.

The Museum of West African Arts (MOWAA) hosted a conversation with the Fanti community at Onikan House, bringing together voices committed to preserving this rich heritage.

Because culture is not just performed. It is remembered. It is protected. It is passed on.

🎥 The full conversation will also be available on our YouTube channel.

A historic moment for culture and preservation.

We were present at the unveiling of the newly renovated museum exhibit wing of the National Museum, Onikan — a significant step in preserving Nigeria’s heritage for future generations.

In partnership with IHS Towers, this transformation reflects the power of collaboration in shaping our cultural narrative.
