MANY REASONS WHY BUSINESSES COLLAPSE:

One of the major reasons why many businesses collapse is some of the workers we employ.

The mentality of most of the people we employ in our business is majorly there to look for ways to enrich themselves and not for the well being of the business.

For most people, no matter how well you pay them they have to find a way to have their own deal within the company.

As a business owner, one of the fastest ways to kill your business is to entrust it to the hands of your workers entirely.

If you are not ready to supervise and be onsite 24/7 then know that the business will struggle and eventually collapse. Yes, you can put systems and even CCTV cameras in place and yet some workers will find a way to steal and take advantage of the business.

One of my friends that runs a restaurant was surprised how the chef will be wrapping food items as rubbish and disposed of them outside the restaurant and after work go and remove the items. Sometimes, they can even plan everything in 2 mins and switch off the CCTV cameras.

One of the trusted worker of a company got sick and the owner of the business was forced to manage his business and within 2 weeks the sales he recorded have not been seen over 1 year. This worker is the first to report and last to leave. This same worker was the one collapsing the business.

Please if you are busy owner of a small or medium size company you have to practically be onsite to make sure the business is running smoothly.

If you are outside Ghana and you want to do business in Ghana then you have to be in Ghana a minimum of 5 months and go back for at most 2 weeks and come back otherwise the business cannot stand. Don't even say I have niece and nephews so they can take care on my behalf.

You will be surprised that some of the people we employ will run down the business and eventually collapse it and later even mock you afterwards.

I know most pastors abroad will love to have a branch of their church back home which is a good thing. Until you are ready to give a good supervision I can promise you that you will be disappointed.

The mindset of most people are twisted and no matter how nice you treat and pay them they will still run the business down.

If you are a small or medium size business owner, PLEASE ALWAYS BE AROUND AND DON'T LEAVE THE BUSINESS ENTIRELY TO YOUR MOST TRUSTED WORKER.
