SPEND MONEY, SAVE TIME
“The price of a car for the speed of a plane”
I read this phrase from a book some days ago and it stuck. It gives credence to an ideology have always juggled in my mind – why business men and women, people of substance and wealth value their time more than they do money. While for the poor, it’s the exact opposite, money comes first. The rich spend money to buy time while the poor spend time to get money.
Those that role in the big bucks today are those that have a found a way to save time for others; automobiles, aircrafts, software engineering, artificial intelligence…, all created to save time for man why? Time is life.
If anybody out there has an idea on how we can sell time, please am very much interested
They say “time is money” but I disagree. Time is much more valuable than money. Money is important, yes it is, so by all means; please do make the money, legitimately of course. But when you do make the money, ensure you spend money to buy back the time spent. If you must create wealth then you must learn to value time much more than you do money. An end to a one’s life brings an end to everything else. Have a wealth mentality spend money and save time. Life is precious, make the most of it.
Two things you should spend time on:
Spend your time on things that makes you happy, chasing fulfillment, adventures, your passions and dreams, things that define who you want to be. And ho! Yes, spend time with love ones. Very important.
Spend time making money
Now the irony here is that for you to spend time with the ones you love, doing the things you love to do, you need money. When you make the money though, spend it living the life you want. Don’t spend your life making money, spend money making a life. You can make money doing the things that make you happy
If you are in a fix, doing a job you do not like just so you can get something better for yourself, I understand. But don’t stay there for long. Get out! Get out as soon as you possibly can.
Your time is your life so save it for the people and the things that matter most to you.
