Nigeria’s Visa Application Process in the U.S. Has Changed
Planning a trips to Nigeria, this is an important update you shouldn’t ignore.
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced that Online Integrated Solution (OIS Services) has been disengaged as the operator of Nigeria’s Visa Application and Submission Centres in the United States, effective immediately.
What this means:
Visa applicants should no longer submit applications through OIS Services.
Applications must now be submitted directly through:
* The Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, D.C.
* The Consulate General of Nigeria in New York
* The Consulate General of Nigeria in Atlanta
The NIS has also assured applicants that measures have been out in place to ensure seamless visa submission, processing, and issuance during this transition.
As immigration and travel policies continue to evolve, staying informed is essential. Whether you’re an applicant, travel consultant, or immigration professional, always rely on official government updates before beginning any visa application.
