Turkish Airlines and Air Peace have entered into a bilateral interline agreement designed to improve travel connectivity between Nigeria, West and Central Africa, Türkiye, and key global destinations.
This partnership allows passengers from both airlines to book a single ticket across select routes, enjoy coordinated flight schedules, and benefit from streamlined baggage handling, making international and regional travel more seamless and convenient.
With this agreement, travelers flying with Turkish Airlines into Lagos can easily connect to Air Peace’s domestic and regional routes within Nigeria and across West Africa. Likewise, Air Peace passengers can now access Turkish Airlines’ extensive global network through Istanbul, a major hub linking Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.
The collaboration is expected to boost travel between Nigeria and Türkiye while creating new opportunities for trade, tourism, and regional economic growth.
According to Turkish Airlines’ representative, Dr. Özlem Özyön, the partnership reinforces the airline’s commitment to expanding its presence in Africa by combining global reach with strong local connectivity. Air Peace’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, also described the agreement as a major step toward positioning Nigeria as a key aviation hub, offering passengers greater flexibility and a wider range of destinations.
While Turkish Airlines continues to operate widebody aircraft on its Lagos route with premium onboard services, Air Peace is steadily expanding its fleet and route network across Africa and beyond.
Interline tickets are now available through both airlines’ booking platforms and accredited travel agents.
