TURKISH AIRLINES ANNOUNCES TRAVEL RESTRICTION TO SAUDI ARABIA
Turkish Airlines has announced Travel restrictions for passengers travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a circular which was received from its General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspending entry into the Kingdom for passengers coming from Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Germany, United States of America, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, United Kingdom, Turkey, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Lebanon, Egypt, India, Japan and it includes those coming from other countries if they have passed through any of aforementioned countries during (14) days preceding the request to enter the Kingdom.

ET UPDATES PASSENGERS ON TRAVEL REQUIREMENT TO CANADA
Ethiopian Airlines has announced that all passengers travelling to Canada will require a mandatory COVID-19 test with immediate effect from February 1, 2021, at Toronto Pearson Airport as directed by the Government of Ontario.
Passengers are to pre-register on https://www.switchhealth.ca/en/travel/pearson/
Passengers will also be required to observe a mandatory 3-day quarantine at the government designated hotels at the passengersβ expense and then passengers will continue their 14-day quarantine at their homes.
This is in addition to the 72-hour COVID-19 negative RT-PCR test which passengers must present before boarding their flight from origin to Canada.
VIRGIN ATLANTIC ADVISES PASSENGERS ON LATENESS
Virgin Atlantic Airlines has advised passengers on the issue of lateness at the airport. This comes up after a number of occurrences where passengers have confused the flight time out of Lagos.
The airline reiterates that its flight time out of Lagos is 9:00 am and not 11:00 am as passengers have often confused.
