Most people genuinely don’t realize this:
Travel agents don’t get paid for quotes, research, planning, emails, or advice. We aren't hourly employees for the cruise lines or Disney.
We only get paid after your vacation actually happens — and only if we are the ones who book it.
So when someone comes to me for all the expertise…
✨comparing cruises or resorts
✨breaking down dates and pricing
✨explaining tickets and travel details
…and then books on their own?
That means I worked for free.
If you choose to work with a travel agent, the kindest way to support us is simple:
✨ Communicate openly. Tell us what you are looking for. The best price? The best experience? The most luxurious resort? We can help with all of it.
✨ Be honest. Experienced agents can often tell when someone is just price-shopping. If you are, that's okay—just let me know so I can bow out gracefully. I don't compete on price alone.
✨ Let us book it! My absolute FAVORITE clients are the ones who say, “I know I can book this myself, but I’d love to support you.” We can almost always match the price and add personalized service.
✨ Don't ghost. If your plans change, a quick message is all it takes. If I provide detailed quotes several times with no response, I will eventually stop responding to new requests.
