Right in the middle of Granada — 4.5 blocks from the cathedral, steps from the best restaurants in the city — and yet the moment you walk through the gate, the pace changes completely. The courtyard does that to people. Come see for yourself.

The tiles running through Casa Violeta — across the floors, up the staircase, along the pool deck — were made by hand outside Granada. Black, white, and gray geometric patterns that give the house its spine. Every room feels connected because of them.

Nothing in this house was chosen quickly. The tiles, the textiles, the art on the walls — all of it was collected over time, from places across Nicaragua, by someone who genuinely loves this country. You’ll feel that when you’re here.

Every object in this house has a provenance. The pendant lamps, the textiles, the ceramics — all made by hand, all from somewhere in Nicaragua. When you stay here, you’re surrounded by the work of the people who actually live in this country.

These are chichiles — a traditional Nicaraguan palm-weaving craft, made by hand and full of color. They’re part of local celebrations like La Purísima, where sound, joy, and community take over the streets of Granada every December. A little piece of that lives here at Casa Violeta too — and we love that.
