Granada is a city of Nicaragua.
It was founded in 1524 by Francisco Hernández de Córdoba and one of the first European cities in the continental land, is situated on the banks of Lake Cocibolca or Lake Nicaragua is known as La Gran Sultana, Granada is the tourist city par excellence of Nicaragua .

Its name comes from the Spanish city of Granada, in free translation means "Pilgrim Colony".

Fue fundada en 1524 por Francisco Hernández de Córdoba y una de las primeras ciudades europeas en territorio continental americano, está situada en la ribera del Lago Cocibolca o Lago de Nicaragua es conocida como: La Gran Sultana, Granada es la Ciudad turística por excelencia de Nicaragua.

Su nombre proviene de la Ciudad Española de Granada, que en traducción libre significa "Colonia de Peregrino"

The town of Rivas enjoys a strategic geographical position. Its urban area has a "Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Nation", which happens to be the city of the same name.

It has four parks, a museum of anthropology and history (collection of pre-Columbian artifacts, bones of prehistoric animals and contemporary objects), colonial church and several estates of the late eighteenth century.

Rivas is a department of Nicaragua, which has several of the best known beaches in Nicaragua, whether for their beauty or for its powerful waves, among the most popular are: San Juan del Sur, Ometepe Island, Tola'' Playa Gigante Beach and'' The Shipyard.


El municipio de Rivas goza de una estratégica posición geográfica. Su zona urbana posee un "Patrimonio Histórico y Cultural de la nación", el que resulta ser la ciudad del mismo nombre.

Posee cuatro parques, un museo de antropología e historia (colección de piezas precolombinas, osamenta de animales prehistóricos y objetos contemporáneos), Iglesia colonial y varias haciendas de finales del siglo XVIII.

Rivas es un departamento de Nicaragua, que posee varias de las playas más conocidas de toda Nicaragua, sea por su belleza o por sus potentes olas, entre las mas visitadas tenemos: San Juan del Sur, La Isla de Ometepe, Tola ‘’Playa Gigante y Playa El Astillero’’.

Masaya belongs to the department of the same name. It is located 28 km from the capital Managua.

It is located southwest of Managua and 14 km north of Granada, Masaya is located on the shores of the lake of the same name at the foot of the Masaya volcano.
Masaya Volcano National Park and the lake of the same name are two natural attractions of outstanding scenic beauty.

Black Dancing is a traditional dance that is danced Masayense Sundays during the festivities in honor of San Jerónimo.

In this peculiar dance couples are formed by men (skilled dancers) dancing to the sound of the marimba. That day left pants to wear petticoats and female costumes of bright colors that look with a grace and elegance envied by many ladies.



Masaya pertenece al departamento del mismo nombre, Esta situada a 28 km de la capital Managua,esta situada al suroeste de Managua y a 14 km al norte de Granada, Masaya se encuentra a orillas de la laguna del mismo nombre y a los pies del volcán Masaya.

El Parque Nacional Volcán Masaya y la laguna del mismo nombre son dos atractivos naturales de una belleza escénica destacada.

El baile de Negras es un baile típico Masayense que se baila los días domingos durante las fiestas patronales en honor a San Jerónimo.

En este baile peculiar las parejas están conformadas por hombres (expertos danzantes) que bailan al son de la marimba. Ese día dejan los pantalones para vestir enaguas y trajes femeninos de vistosos colores que lucen con una gracia y elegancia envidiada por muchas damas.

Corinto is a municipality in the department of Chinandega, Nicaragua.

It has an approximate 17,499 inhabitants in an area of 70.67 km ², founded in 1,858.

This village was chosen because of its location, to become a port city.

Corinto port has great international importance because here is the largest port in Nicaragua.

The island is located between Corinth area estuaries and the open sea, is a municipality in the department of Chinandega and is also the largest seaport Nicaragua.

Corinto es un municipio del departamento de Chinandega, en Nicaragua.

Tiene un aproximado de 17,499 habitantes repartidos en una extensión de 70.67 km², fundada en 1,858.

Este pueblo fue escogido, debido a su ubicación, para convertirlo en una ciudad-puerto.

El puerto Corinto tiene gran relevancia internacional ya que acá se encuentra el puerto más importante de Nicaragua.

La isla de Corinto está ubicada entre una zona de esteros y el mar abierto, es un municipio del departamento de Chinandega y también es el puerto marítimo más grande de Nicaragua.

The department of León is a land of volcanoes, beaches, tropical climate and interesting cities.

Here are the ruins of one of the first Spanish colonial cities in the continent, preserved by volcanic sand that buried during an eruption.

The municipality of Leon has two famous beaches: Poneloya and Las Penitas.

In the vicinity of the latter, the Isla de Juan Venado Natural Reserve is located, with its abundant marine life and mangrove vegetation.

El departamento de León es tierra de volcanes,playas, clima tropical e interesantes centros urbanos.

Aquí están las ruinas de una de las primeras ciudades coloniales españolas en el continente, conservadas gracias a la arena volcánica que la sepultó tras una erupción.

El municipio de León cuenta con dos playas muy famosas: Poneloya y Las Peñitas.

En las cercanías de la última, se ubica la Reserva Natural Isla de Juan Venado, con su abundante fauna marina y vegetación manglar.
