Thinking of a Nicaragua surf or fishing trip?
NICA WEATHER and SURF
JANUARY - windy 💨💨with highs in the 90s. Small waves.
FEBRUARY - 💨💨Same as January
MARCH - first 1/2 windy, 💨💨then winds lighten and we start get some surf . Good fishing as the winds lighten up.
APRIL - light winds, highs 90s, maybe a little light rain, bigger surf. Great fishing. 🌊🏄🏽♂️🌂🎣
MAY - varies from year to year. Can be much like April, or we sometimes get heavy rain and onshore winds. Great fishing.
JUNE - start of rainy season and surf season. Light winds, temps 90s, waves double overhead plus, rains off and on every day from June into August .🌊🌊🌊🏄🏽♂️🏄🏽♂️🏄🏽♂️
JULY- same as June🌊🌊🌊🏄🏽♂️🏄🏽♂️🏄🏽♂️
AUGUST - we get a weather phenomenon called “La Canicula”. the rain stops for 2 weeks or longer. A little less humid, but in the 90s; still get big waves 🌊🌊🏄🏽♂️ 🏄🏽♂️. Great fishing 🎣
SEPTEMBER - Same as August but rain comes back
OCTOBER - lots of rain. ⛈️☔️Localized flooding, brown water when the river mouths blow out. Great fishing . Good time to go to USA and watch BullDawgs
NOVEMBER - starts out like October, but most years the rain starts to lighten up. Less humid; especially late November.
DECEMBER - glorious weather. Low humidity . Small surf . Winds start to get strong by late December.
