A moment of clarity without any action is just a thought that passes in the wind. But a moment of clarity followed by an action is a pivotal moment in our lives.

So grateful for everyone who came together under the palapa to celebrate, share stories, and toast to the next chapter at Vintage Surf Club. Here’s to the bold leaps, the community that feels like home, and all the incredible moments still ahead as we count down to our official doors opening this November. ✨🌴

Can’t quite believe it’s been nearly a year since I took this leap and started building my little sanctuary here.

Setting this place up has been a massive labour of love, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without the incredible people who have helped bring it all together, lent a hand with the gathering, and—most importantly—welcomed me in and made me truly feel like I belong. I am so deeply happy here.
At the same time, not a single day goes by without missing my kids fiercely. It felt entirely fitting to bring everyone together for a party on my daughter’s birthday, keeping her close in my heart across the miles.

Here’s to community, new chapters, and the people who make a strange place feel like home. ✨🌴

Soaking up every golden second of this lazy Saturday afternoon. ☀️🌴

With nothing on the agenda except the warmth of the sun, a soft playlist drifting through the air, and that endless soundtrack of waves rolling onto the shore. There is nowhere else I’d rather be.

Hope has taken herself to bed, but my shadow is lurking close by, completely unbothered, while the world slows right down. Just pure, unadulterated weekend bliss. 🌊🐾

There is a moment - usually accompanied by a very loud, booming roar that shakes the afternoon right into place - where it truly hits you: Oh right, I live in the jungle! 🐒🌿

The howler monkeys decided to hang out in our garden trees this afternoon. Naturally, Dumb and Dumber took this as a personal invitation to make new best friends. There they were, shouting back at the canopy at the top of their lungs, entirely convinced that if they just bark loud enough, the giant primates will drop down and come play.

Standing there trying to convince the dogs that the monkeys do not, in fact, want to play, while the jungle puts on an absolute show. We’re definitely not in London anymore! 🌴🇬🇧🇳🇮

There’s nothing quite like watching these idiots losing their minds at Play Hermosa when the vitamin sea kicks in. Pure joy in motion.

Just another magical afternoon in the jungle backyard—or so I thought! 🐒🌿

Stood out here completely mesmerized, camera in hand, entirely too busy watching a troop of howler monkeys swinging through the canopy and a few wild horses wandering by to pay attention to my surroundings.

Cut to my phone ringing. It’s my lovely neighbour calling to casually inform me that one of my dogs is currently stationed on her back porch, boldly eating all the food she generously leaves out for the local wildlife 🫣.

Bless her, she sent photographic proof of the absolute angel behavior—sitting pretty, acting like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, completely living her best life.
..And then reality snapped back into focus the exact second I heard her signature, pointless bark echoing across the trees. Never a dull moment! 🐾✨

Look who decided to drop by for a morning visit! A majestic wild howler monkey casually hanging out right outside my window, looking like the absolute king of the jungle. I was ready to capture some National Geographic-level content and commune with nature.

Enter: My dogs.
Zero chill. Absolutely zero survival instincts. Instead of appreciating this magnificent creature, these absolute potatoes lost their minds and started barking like they were defending the Alamo from a mailman.

Naturally, the monkey took one look at these two brain cells bouncing off the walls, sighed profoundly, and vanished back into the canopy.
Thanks, guys. You really showed that primate who’s boss.
