There was a storm and waves. My place is high and dry. Fully operating. Easy access on new costanera road - right up from playa Marsella outside Sjds. Come stay and help out businesses stay open and get back on their feet. Many inland restaurants are fine and could use the sales. Often their cousins and brothers are the ones that own the affected seaside bars - it’s all family here. ❤️😎

We are so grateful that our neighbors at the Islote bar are ok but also heartbroken at the beach destruction and economic loss of our seaside friends. .

I love the history of Sjds. The “gateway to the pacific.” My house is on land that was once jungle with tracks for grazing cows to cross as people bushwhacked a way though the dense undergrowth to the remote beaches - now playa Marsella and Maderas! The local fishermen still go out in their handmade wood and fiberglass skiffs, horses still roam the beaches and monkeys swing by in the trees. We maintains maderas trees to help feed and shelter the monkeys and added dozens of lemon, papaya, mango, banana and avocado trees too plus scores of flowering plants - a mini paradise. Cool and refreshing after a day at the beach - now on paved rods. Come join us. Openings as of June 1. Whole home - roomy, breezy, comfortable. Best WiFi. ❤️

Before and after. it's been 5 years and we've come a long way! I love our lush gardens full of fruit bearing avocado, lemon, mango, banana, and papaya trees. Plus madera trees for the monkeys. And our full bedroom/bath extension, wifi, hot showers, and 7 amazing murals, plus gated parking, lit walkways, paved paths, and manicured lawn... it just keeps getting better and better!
