🇨🇦✈️ Great news for travelers and aviation enthusiasts — Canadian airline WestJet is returning to Nicaragua!
After ending its seasonal operations in March 2026, flights between Canada and Nicaragua are already scheduled again for the next tourism season. This is yet another sign that interest in Nicaragua continues to grow. 🔥
📍 First flight:
December 13, 2026
📍 Last flight of the season:
April 11, 2027
This season there is one important change — flights will now operate on Sundays instead of Thursdays.
🛫 Flight schedule:
WS2984 | Montreal → Managua
Departure: 9:30 AM CST
Arrival: 2:15 PM CST
WS2985 | Managua → Montreal
Departure: 3:15 PM CST
Arrival: 9:35 PM CST
📌 Frequency:
1 weekly flight — Sundays only.
An interesting detail: these flights are for Sunwing Vacations but will be operated by WestJet.
At the moment, the system allows travelers to purchase one-way flights from Montreal to Managua without a vacation package. The Managua → Montreal option is currently not available separately through the system, though it may become available later through travel agencies or other booking methods.

And of course, we can customize our Nicaragua travel routes around these flights. We will personally meet you at the airport in Augusto C. Sandino International Airport, guide you throughout the tour, and bring you back for your return flight home. ✈️🌴
With these new flight schedules, we can now offer both 7-night and 14-night tours across Nicaragua instead of the usual 11-day format — giving travelers even more flexibility to explore volcanoes, colonial cities, islands, beaches, surfing spots, and authentic local culture throughout the country. 🌋🌊
