As a young surfer I always dreamed of exploring the dirt roads of Central America in search of perfect waves. Once I graduated high-school the adventures began, and trips became frequent. These frequent trips fueled the passion, and on my 25th birthday I packed my bags, and gave away everything else in pursuit of the surfer's dream. Determined to find a way, make a living, and explore Central America's waves I started off in Costa Rica. After a stint in Costa Rica a close friend convinced me to make the trek up to Nicaragua. That's where I met JJ Yemma, one of the original surf pioneers of Nicaragua. It wasn't long before I bought land, met the girl that's now my wife, and have found a place to call home here in Nicaragua. JJ put me to work as a surf guide shortly after arriving. He gave me the keys to a 4x4, a panga, and I began introducing guests to the best waves Nicaragua has on tap. 15 years later and I'm still surfing the best waves of my life, meeting incredible people, enjoying fatherhood, stacking countless quality memories, and soaking up mind-blowing sunsets on a daily basis. All this has shaped the mantra, and lifestyle that has become..."Another Day in the Life"... It's something I live by, and it's something I love to share with new friends, and old ones alike.
