“World Tourism Forum Lucerne participant Veronika Alieva from North-Caucasus Federal University, Stavropol, Russia has continued to prove her dedication to her project: combating food illiteracy through the hospitality industry.
Her hard work was rewarded recently when she won the Russian “Masters of Hospitality” competition in the category Best Innovation Projects”

WTFL Young Talents. Where are they now?

Shassy E. Cahyani was a Young Talent Programme finalist in 2017 representing Bandung University in Indonesia.

Amazing news that she’s now studying for a Masters at Wageningen University in the Netherlands! Shassy says, participating in the World Tourism Forum Lucerne “made me realise how to maximize my capacity and how I should improve myself to get a jump in career”. With this attitude, it’s no surprise to hear she won a scholarship to continue her further education in Europe. Well deserved Shassy!
