National European trophy import bans are illegal!

Great news! Please share!

According to a new German legal analysis, the many populistic European attempts to ban the importation of hunting trophies violate EU law, are therefore not legal, and should be challenged by hunters.

In France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Finland, such national import bans are already in place. In many other EU countries—Poland, Germany, and Italy, to name a few—politicians are working on similar bans.

CIC recently commissioned a German law firm specializing in EU law to do the analysis. Read the details here ... and bring these governments to court!

Cordy kal. 12 juxtaposé kastslot geweer. Nieuwe kolf op maat. Frans notenhout. Het voorhout schoongemaakt.

Cordy was één van de betere Luikse geweermakers. Bekend om zijn kwaliteit en zijn elegante eenvoud (less is more). Het hout is speciaal uitgezocht om te passen in het concept van Cordy. Niet te saai maar ook niet te druk en de juiste kleur.

A Cordy 12 gauge boxlock restocked to the customers dimensions. Cordy was one of the better Belgian gunmakers. Known for his quality and elegant simple lines (less is more). The French walnut was specially selected for this project. A simple but elegant and coulourful blank.

The forend was cleaned up.

Piotti King. Lopen geblauwd, kolf en voorhout schoongemaakt. mechaniek gereviseerd. Best finish afwerking. Opnieuw gequadrilleerd. Kolf aangepast voor nieuwe klant middels een houten verlenging.

Piotti King. Barrels reblued. Woodwork cleaned, best oil finish and recheckered. Metalwork stripped, cleaned and adjusted. Stock lenghtened with contrasting piece of walnut to suit new owner.

Well folks, with the game shooting season behind us and most of 2016 still ahead of us, it is time for something special.

Korriphila pistols are so called fine pistols. They are hand made and finished to a very high standard. The Korriphila is a so called roller block action pistol and the mechanism itself is a work of art.

I made a set wrap around match grips for this pistol from root walnut. I laid out the grips in such a way that there is a nice contrasting streak running vertically through the grips that accentuates the lines. Brass bushing were fitted with blued steel slotted screws.

The grips are hand rubbed oil finished. Checkering was omitted since it has no added value.

Although very small in size, 'little' projects like these takes as much time as making a stock for a long gun. As the saying goes: the devil is in the details.

Een orthopedische kolf voor een fraaie B25. Kolflengte is 42,5 cm. De lopen zijn opnieuw geblauwd en het mechanisme gereviseerd. De bezitter kan nu weer schieten.

A full crossover stock for a nice B25 shotgun. Lenght of pull is 42,5 cm. Barrels reblued, mechanisme overhauled. The happy owner can enjoy his sport once again

I just finished a new rifle based on a Wi******er 70 pre '64. With Blackburn bottom metal. The stock is made of French walnut. The fluted barrel is made in Ferlach.
