From sidewalks to doorsteps, delivery just got smarter.🤖

We’ve launched a new pilot in Zurich with Swiss robotics company RIVR, making Just Eat Takeaway.com the first on-demand delivery service in Europe to test wheeled-legged ground robots powered by Physical AI. Their first stop? Zekis World in Oerlikon, serving up real customer orders as part of this exciting pilot.

These innovative bots combine wheels for smooth travel with legs for climbing curbs and stairs, navigating rain, snow, grass and even tight corners with ease. Designed for safety and efficiency, they carry large orders in secure, insulated compartments and are monitored in real time during every delivery.

The goal? To explore new ways of boosting operational efficiency and offering more delivery options, while giving our couriers extra support during peak times. With their electric design, they’re environmentally friendly too: emitting no CO2 and using significantly less energy than traditional vehicles.

This pilot is another step in our innovation journey, building on the launch of drone delivery in Ireland earlier this year. With more robotic pilots planned across Europe, including retail and convenience, we’re continuing to explore new ways to expand and strengthen our logistics network.

At Just Eat Takeaway.com, we’re committed to creating a workplace and platform where LGBTQIA+ colleagues, couriers, customers and partners feel seen, supported, and celebrated, every day of the year.

Pride season is one way we bring that commitment to life. This year, our activations spanned 11 offices and multiple countries, powered by the amazing work of our JET & Proud Network and local teams.

Here are just a few ways we showed up with purpose and pride:
✨ Marched and celebrated in Berlin, Wrocław, and Dublin — including a sold-out concert in Ireland, with proceeds going to our Ireland charity partner, Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre.
🎉 Hosted workshops, brunches, and in-office events designed to inspire, educate and build community.
🧡 Partnered with charity AKT in the UK to deliver year-round support for LGBTQ+ youth in vulnerable living situations.
🎯 Amplified our message of LGBTQIA+ support and celebration with billboards in major cities across the UK and Ireland.
🌈 Introduced Pride Partner discounts to bring our Ireland and Berlin customers in on the celebration.
📣 Highlighted LGBTQIA+ voices on internal platforms and launched an ongoing event series championing community connection and allyship.

These moments reflect something bigger: our ongoing mission to build a culture where everyone feels like they truly belong, one that encourages new perspectives, embraces different ways of thinking, and creates space for people to show up as themselves. And this is just the beginning, we will continue to drive meaningful action all year round.

This June, we were proud to support the graduation of Ada College’s Class of 2025, and what a celebration it was. From rooftop sunshine and yearbook signings to awards, applause, and truly moving moments, the day captured everything Ada stands for: empowering the next generation of diverse digital talent.

JET’s own Elizabeth Eastaugh took to the stage to share her story, offering words of wisdom, encouragement and inspiration that left a lasting impression on students and staff alike. Special awards recognised standout achievements across the class, from digital excellence to leadership and academic growth. Computer Science teachers were also celebrated for the lasting impact they’ve had on their students.

We’re excited to announce our partnership with TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, supporting the launch of a new TUMO centre at OBA Next in South East Amsterdam. 🤖

TUMO is a free, forward-thinking after-school program for young people aged 12 to 18, offering hands-on learning in creative and technical skills, anything from animation and robotics to game development and music production.

This partnership brings JET's vision to life by empowering the next generation. It reflects our commitment to people, planet and communities. We’ve committed to supporting TUMO Amsterdam’s launch and ongoing development over the next three years. This partnership underscores our dedication to empowering the next generation of innovators and creators.

Beyond the game, we're powering change 💛⚽
At Just Eat Takeaway.com, our UEFA partnership isn't just about football, it's about the impact we can create off the pitch and in the stands.

We're championing more sustainable choices through our collaboration with My Emissions, helping fans and restaurants understand the carbon impact of their favourite match day meals. And with Notpla, we’re introducing innovative packaging made from seaweed, a step towards reducing single-use plastic at major UEFA events.

We're also proud to be strengthening women's football, not only by championing visibility, but by enriching the entire match day experience. In Switzerland, where UEFA Women’s EURO is in full swing, we’ve launched our Feed the Game program. This turns fan passion into meaningful support for local communities, helping create lasting value for our community.

On 15 May, we celebrated Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) with the Able to Break Barriers event in Brussels, organised by our Able at JET community. The event centred around an inspiring talk from Carl Morris, who chronicled his journey as the first deaf person to conquer the North Pole and the youngest ever World Pool Champion. Alongside Carl’s story, we explored the purpose behind GAAD, focusing on how we can make the internet more accessible for everyone. 💻

As part of our week-long GAAD celebrations, the Accessibility Team also hosted a session with UX accessibility expert Adi Latif, helping colleagues learn more about apps and accessibility.

While GAAD may be just one day a year, our commitment to accessibility is ongoing, driven by our passionate people and communities, and a shared effort to create meaningful change in the workplace. One example is the launch of the Accessibility Passport, introduced by our Neurodiversity Community, which enables colleagues to request the adjustments for disabilities, neurodiversity, and other accessibility needs, with support that stays with them, even if their role or location changes. It’s a powerful step toward a more inclusive and supportive working environment. ✨
