Sometimes I really love it when tourists are in town.
I had a wonderful tour last week, a couple of trans guys living in England. They were great sports about the unceasing rain, asked excellent questions for a deeper understanding, and were great fun to dry out and have coffee with afterwards.
But it wasn't only this. They were also happy to answer all kinds of questions of mine related to transition, were forthright about which places were good and which weren't, and why, and gave me more encouragement than I've had anywhere else about my own journey.
I do this because I love doing it. Sometimes though, what I get out of it is far more than I can predict, and it makes doing this that much more enjoyable. Thanks, Nic and Max.
