Every year during winter, Amsterdam hosts the extraordinary Light Festival, where a variety of artists and creators present illuminated works of light throughout the canals of Amsterdam to locals and tourists from all over the world! The theme of this year's 11th edition is "imagine beyond", and it focuses on the power of our imagination in anticipating the future, imagining other worlds, and exceeding the here and now.๐Ÿ˜

The absolutely BEST way to enjoy the festival is by joining a cruise through Amsterdam's canals, and our personal recommendation is the special Light Festival cruise offered by !๐Ÿšค

At Starboard, you will enjoy a cruise of the official Light Festival route, where you can see and experience all the installations and artworks! The cruises are in small, intimate groups, in a covered boat protected from rain and cold (with cozy blankets and heaters๐ŸŒž). 2. Amsterdam Light festival:โœจ
There's something magical about Europe in winter, especially around Christmas. But no doubt the most exciting event in Amsterdam in that time is the light festival! During December, the works of 20 artists will illuminate the city and, most importantly, its canals! The festival and artworks change from year to year in this magical event that attracts tourists from all over the world, and rightly so! ๐Ÿคฉ So make sure not to miss out on this one!

3. Clubbing in Amsterdam:๐Ÿ’ƒ

If you haven't had the chance to go to Anne Imhof's exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum, now is the time! The exhibition is highly immersive, where you walk through a maze designed by the artist by using art, architecture, sounds, and lighting. It's a powerful experience that cannot be described in words, but definitely worth a visit! ๐Ÿคฉ

2. Art, antiques, and design fair: ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ˜
Between the 19th - 27th of the month, the RAI Exhibition Center will host the Dutch fair for art, antiques, and design: PAN Amsterdam. If you're looking to buy (or just look at) amazing art, antiques, or design - this is the place to be! all you have to do is buy a ticket and hear to RAI. Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

So come and learn something new in a young atmosphere and with a cocktail in hand at the lecture "How do prejudice and racism develop in children?", just one free ferry ride away from Amsterdam Central Station (22.11).
