Everyone heads out on safari scanning the brush for the "Big Five," but it is usually the skies that steal the show.
It is easy to get so focused on looking for elephants and lions that you completely overlook the smaller, brilliant flashes of moving color right above you. Spotting an African woodland bird perched in the quiet open savanna is an immediate reminder that the bush has a completely different kind of royalty ruling its branches.
