Amsterdam had a free bike sharing system in 1965. Long before the apps 🚲

It started with a group of young anarchists called Provo, a stack of old bikes and a lot of white paint. They called it the White Bicycle Plan.

The bikes didn't last. The rebels did: they ended up on the Amsterdam city council.

From white paint to city hall in about a year. Caroline tells you the whole story.
