Of course we can also try typical Dutch food, stop at that great "photo

stop" and visit one of the beautiful churches. It's all up to you! Delft is easily reached from cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague and can be leisurely explored on foot. We are happy to meet you at the train station and show you this great town. Global D-Tours has more than 6 years of experience in guiding groups around different countries across the world. As such, we know you are not looking for a history lesson but for an entertaining tour with plenty of nice photo opportunities, some background information and a slice of "local life". Tours are:

Today we celebrate King Willem Alexander's birthday, or "Kingsday" in The Netherlands. Traditionally, everyone is dressed in orange as this is the color of the Dutch Royal Family. This goes back a LONG way... even before William of Orange fought for Dutch independence in the 16th century. William was a resident in Delft for the last part of his life.
