On April 12th Wagenborg Shipping invited the Dutch cadets, who finished their first apprenticeship on board of one of the Wagenborg flagged vessels, to evaluate their first training period (of 5 months) on board. We had the opportunity to invite all students / cadets at the office of Wärtsila at Zwolle. Because of the good relationship between Wärtsila and Wagenborg, Wagenborg Shipping had the idea to arrange this evaluation day at one of the main offices of Wärtsila and have a good discussion and evaluation about their previous (and for the most of the students the first) period on board. After this discussion and evaluation, Wartsila gave a short presentation about their specialty / business. The day came to an end with an introduction / round tour in the factory hall of Wärtsila (most of the business over there; develop its maintenance and repair services)
