🇺🇸/🇬🇧 In 2017 I took my boyfriend (now husband) to Iceland to show him the country I fell in love with all those years ago. When we arrived in Ísafjörður, a very comfortable and peaceful feeling fell over the both of us. Right there and then we decided that if we were lucky enough to welcome a daughter in the future, we would name her after that special town.

Last October I gave birth to our daughter, Isa Anne 😊
🇳🇱 In 2017 heb ik mijn vriend (nu echtgenoot) meegenomen naar IJsland om hem het land te laten zien waar ik al die jaren verliefd op ben geworden. Toen we aankwamen in Ísafjörður viel er een vreemd gevoel van rust en veiligheid over ons. We hebben daar en toen besloten dat als we het geluk zouden hebben om in de toekomst een dochter te mogen verwelkomen, we haar naar die speciale stad zouden vernoemen.

Afgelopen oktober is onze dochter Isa Anne geboren 😊

🇬🇧/🇺🇸 Go in or leave the Westfjords in style: with the Baldur Ferry! It's a nice way to travel between the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the Westfjords and it's faster than driving all the way around.
