Merlijn’s lounge, bar and restaurant have had a full refit ✨

Not that anything was wrong before, but the owners saw room for improvement, and it shows! Think warm tones, lush greenery, a stunning wine display and an interior that invites you to sit back and let the world drift by outside the windows. A lot of attention has been paid to improving the acoustics in the lounge, there’s more technology behind it than you might think. And after the first few weeks, it turns out it’s a success! Last week, Merlijn reached the beautiful Moselle River, what an incredible region to explore by bike. With the weather finally clearing up, everything somehow feels just that little bit more magical ✨

It gives us a wonderful cycling path with barely any incline or descent through the mountains!

Does this photo show all the characteristics of the Moselle river? You wouldn’t say so, but it’s almost true! You can see a Roman staircase, the Romans shaped a large part of the Moselle’s history. And you can see vineyards, well… say Moselle, say wine(yards). Of course our guests cycled past here! 🚴‍♂️
