Throw-back to the Jamaica Tour we had earlier this month. Operation Mango Tree brought a group of 40 people to all four corners of the island, to visit the filming locations from Dr. No , Live and Let Die, and No Time to Die. This is the little waterfall that Bond and Solitaire pass before meeting Baron Samedi at the graveyard. It's currently part of the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course, behind Rose Hall Great House.

Hard to believe this modern-day street in Kagoshima, Japan, was once used in You Only Live Twice, in the scene in which Bond takes off with his Little Nellie gyrocopter. The location was identified by our Japanese Bond friends and if you look carefully you can actually still recognize the active Sakurajima volcano in the background, now somewhat obscured by buildings and trees. RAF Northolt featured in Thunderball, Oc*****sy, The World Is Not Enough, but also in Goldfinger, where Hangar 5 can be seen in this shot from the final scenes of the film. 007 is invited to the White House, but the plane is hijacked by Goldfinger himself. A somewhat obscure location from Live And Let Die, because in the film the San Monique consulate can only be seen on the CCTV monitor observed by Felix Leiter. The building can be found on 35 E 69th St , NYC .

In Diamonds Are Forever, Bond escapes with Tiffany after the moon buggy chase. The scene was filmed in the Nevada desert on what is known as Pabco Road, named after the gypsum plant that served as Willard Whyte's facility.

During our 2023 Live And Let Die celebration in New Orleans, we ended up on the private estate at Liberty Bayou, where in 1973 the scene with the motorboat in the pool was filmed. The pool isn't really being used anymore, but it's still there and was great to see.

In 2022 we published FILMING JAMES BOND IN THE BAHAMAS and launched the book during our Thunderball Reunion event at Atlantis, Nassau . Written by Simon Firth, the book finally reveals the long-missing 'training house' location from the opening of NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, which I discovered shortly before together with Thomas Gleitsmann. Surprisingly, the remains of the (in 1983 already) derelict house can still be found on New Providence. This drone shot should give you an idea of what was filmed where.
