SY "Mirasol" 2014 | 45m Bill Dixon design for sale

"MIRASOL" is a stunning 45 metre sailing yacht from the drawing board of the UK Naval Architect – Bill Dixon, and was launched in 2014 at Holland Jachtbouw. She was designed with performance in mind, allowing her to sail fast and efficiently in the lighter breezes often found in the Mediterranean.

She has carbon fibre spars as well as carbon rigging and features a large and comfortable cockpit that is perfect for al-fresco dining. A hydraulic bimini has also been incorporated into the structure, which raises and lowers in a similar way to the roof of a hard top convertible car. Furthermore she has a telescopic keel, which can be raised to gain entry to some of the shallower, more picturesque harbours in the Mediterranean and lowered for performance sailing.

"MIRASOL's" interior was designed by Rhoades Young, and can be described as peaceful and minimalistic using a combination of materials fabrics and textures. Natural light is in abundance throughout the cabins and living areas on board.

Delivered in 2012, the 40-metre Rainbow is a modern replica based on the 1934 America’s Cup winner and original J Class sailing yacht Rainbow, built by Herreshoff in the US and designed by William Starling Burgess. Taking design inspiration from the original, but with a modern update from Dykstra Naval Architects, the J Class sailing yacht was constructed in aluminium by Holland Jachtbouw.

MOTOR YACHT “ANJILIS” FOR SALE

"Anjilis", previously known as "Cassiopeia", was the first motor yacht built by Holland Jachtbouw. She was designed by Bill Langan and constructed under the supervision of MCM’s Nigel Ingram. He assisted the owners in the interior design and decor to render an elegant and high-quality, yet family yachting experience. In 2021, she underwent a major interior refit by Patrick Knowles Designs, updating the interior while maintaining her original character.

The yacht has uncompromised seaworthiness with speed, range, and shallow draft. With a semi-displacement aluminium hull and twin MTU 16V 2000 M90 engines, Anjilis is well-suited to both relaxed cruising and longer passages. She provides accommodation for up to seven guests in three cabins, along with space for five crew members, including a separate captain’s cabin. Her flybridge features a barbecue and a spacious dining area, making it a comfortable and social space on board.

Thanks to her shallow draft and solid engineering, she is equally at home in the Mediterranean, the Bahamas or New England. This makes her a great choice for owners looking for versatility in cruising grounds.

S/Y WINDROSE OF AMSTERDAM:

This magnificent 46-metre-long schooner made worldwide headlines after breaking the transatlantic crossing record in 2002 and 2005. Her elegant exterior design with low freeboards, elegant sheer and long overhangs comes from the drawing board of Dykstra Naval Architects, who also took care of the interior styling. Windrose of Amsterdam (formerly Windrose) won the ShowBoats Award for Highest Technical Achievement upon its launch in 2002, for the attention to detail in its advanced technical systems.

Her beautiful lines and impressive traditional appearance, there’s nothing ordinary about Windrose of Amsterdam. This is a yacht that was made to sail.
