Makikisakay na rin ako sa trending issue ngayon. 😁

Nabalitaan ninyo ba yung nangyari sa Iseltwald? Mga fans ng CLOY (Crash Landing on You), alam na alam ninyo siguro kung anong lugar ito! 😂

Hindi ko na babanggitin kung ano ang incident. Pero ito ang mismong lugar kung saan nangyari ang eksena—ang famous Iseltwald pier, isa sa shooting locations ng CLOY. Dito yung scene kung saan tumutugtog ng piano si Captain Ri. 🎹❤️

I’ve been there! Pero hindi na ako pumunta mismo sa platform kasi may mga tao at may 5 Swiss franc (387 pesos) fee para makapasok. 😁 Sayang ang 5 francs kaya! 😂

Sapat na sa akin na nakarating ako sa lugar at nakita ko mismo ang famous CLOY spot. 😀🇨🇭

Pero grabe rin ang dedication ng ibang fans. May mga talagang nag-ipon at nag-travel all the way to Switzerland just to visit the CLOY filming locations. And I get it—kapag favorite series mo, iba talaga ang feeling na makarating ka sa mismong lugar na nakita mo lang sa screen. ❤️

Unfortunately, para sa apat na Filipina tourists, ang excitement at saya ng pagpunta sa lugar na iyon ay nauwi sa lungkot at trauma dahil sa isang hindi inaasahang pangyayari.

Mas nakakalungkot pa dahil kapwa natin Pilipino ang naging bahagi ng pangyayaring iyon na tuluyang sumira sa kanilang masayang travel experience.

Kaya minsan, hindi lang magagandang tanawin at memories ang naiuuwi natin sa isang biyahe. May mga pagkakataong may mga pangyayaring hindi natin inaasahan—at sana, kahit saan tayo magpunta, tandaan natin na ang respeto sa kapwa ay walang pinipiling lugar o bansa. ❤️

Ikaw, magbabayad ka rin ba ng 5 Swiss francs para lang makatapak sa mismong lugar kung saan tumugtog ng piano si Captain Ri? 🎹😂

This is Castle Terworm, a beautifully restored 17th‑century water castle in Heerlen, Limburg.
Surrounded by moats, manicured gardens, and a peaceful nature reserve, it’s one of the most photogenic estates in Zuid‑Limburg. Today, it operates as a boutique hotel under Van der Valk — the largest hospitality chain in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱

Maraming castles dito sa Europe ang ginawang hotels or museums. Castles are popular wedding venues because of their elegant and romantic atmosphere. Medyo pricey nga lang compared sa iba.

Kaya naman napunta ako dahil nag attend ako ng wedding ng friend ko na Filipina‑Dutch couple. Intimate lang — 16 kami — and we had fine dining on a long table inside one of the castle’s private rooms.
Simple, elegant, and very European. A beautiful celebration in a timeless setting.

This is one of the giant floats made of dahlia flowers sa Sint Jansklooster Flower Parade. Magical talaga sa gabi — the lights make every detail glow, parang moving artwork under the night sky. ✨🌙

Isa ang Sint Jansklooster sa mga pinakamagagandang flower parades sa Netherlands. Kapag spring and summer, ang daming festivals at bloemencorso na puwedeng puntahan — bawat isa may sariling charm at creativity.

Buti na lang, dahil sa social media, ang dali nang malaman ang festival schedules. Kaya hindi na namin nami‑miss ang mga ganitong colorful events. 🌸💛

Last night, we watched the Sint Jansklooster Night Flower Parade — kasama si hubby and our Dutch‑Thai couple friends. 🇳🇱🌙 We drove 263 kms from home and magstay ng 2 nights para mapanood ang flower parade.

This is my second flower parade ever, pero first time ko makapanood ng night parade, and grabe… ibang level talaga kapag gabi. 🥰The floats turn into giant illuminated sculptures, glowing with colors and details you can only appreciate under the night sky.

Every year, the Netherlands celebrates multiple flower parades — summer and autumn — and we always make it a point to attend at least one. Pero last night felt extra magical.

Ang saya! ang ganda! ang surreal lalo na nung dumaan mismo sa harap namin yung float. 💯👏Parang moving artwork made of hundred thousand of dahlias. 🌸✨

Tradition na namin to — a little road trip, a little adventure, and a whole lot of wonder. 🌼🚗💛 Next year iba naman ang puntahan namin.

🧑‍🍳Typical Dutch dinner looks like this — fries, kroketten, bitterballen, and fried snacks served in trays, simple and satisfying. Pero para sa ating mga Filipino, ganito usually ang finger food, pulutan, or merienda, not a full dinner.

Different cultures, different comfort food 🍰🍕— pero parehong masarap lalo na when shared with good company.

✈️🚗Some trips bring us to postcard‑perfect spots… others lead us to rocky paths and quiet landscapes. Pero kahit saan ako magpunta, I’m always reminded that the world is full of places waiting to be discovered.

🌁I love exploring cities as much as I enjoy being out in nature — wala akong pinipiling puntahan basta may variety at may kwento. Gusto ko makita lahat, except siguro ‘yung sobrang daming museum in one go. After all, we travel to experience what makes each destination unique.

Standing at the edge of the Meuse River (Dutch: Maas), dito mismo sa Netherlands🇳🇱 side, ang peaceful, kami lang ang tao— parang ordinary river lang. Pero in reality, I’m literally standing on an international border. Sa kabila ng river na ‘to, Belgium 🇧🇪na. No fences, no guards, no immigration booths… just a calm river quietly dividing two countries.

Maraming tao ang may assumption na kapag “crossing countries,” automatic may immigration, may stamp, may long lines. Pero dito sa Europe, lalo na sa mga Schengen countries, borders can be surprisingly simple. Minsan lakad-lakad ka lang, tapos ayun — ibang bansa na. It’s one of the things that makes European travel feel so effortless and magical.
