Sweet Southern Champagne is a relaxed tour with its base in the fortified town of Langres, right on the edge of Southern Champagne. Expect quiet backroads, flowing curves, vineyards, forests, and small villages — perfect for riders who love calm roads and real France.

🌞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬! 🏍️🚐

If you have been following us, you know we use winter to plan. And the last weeks we have been in full in planning mode for our 2026 adventures and can’t wait to hit the road (first real Roadtrip is set for April)!

After finishing the plans for our Route de la Meuse, Route de la Moselle and first ideas for the Sweet Southern Champagne tour along the way 😉, we also started dreaming about new tours in summer across Hungary, Romania and Poland.

Here’s the tours that are on our radar:

𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 – enjoying curves around Hungary’s beautiful Lake Balaton

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 – chasing the legendary mountain passes of Romania: Transfagarasan ánd Transalpina

𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 – exploring rolling hills, vineyards, and charming towns

𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 – conquering twisty roads in Poland’s stunning Tatra Mountains

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 – discovering hidden roads and breathtaking views

For these tours we’ll be traveling in our campervan with the bikes on the trailer – yes, we know, some riders might raise an eyebrow 😄. But after 20 years of exploring Europe by bike with a tent, we decided a few years ago it was time for a little luxury and to discover Europe in a new way, combining the joy of motorbike riding with the freedom of a home on wheels.

📍 Once we’ve ridden each tour, we’ll share the GPX files on our website so you can follow along and ride these roads yourself!

We wish you a fantastic 2026, full of good health, great roads and many unforgettable rides. May your fuel tank always be full, your coffee stops be sunny, and your route always a little bit… Quazy 😉

A new year for us means new plans.
And to round up our first plan - following the River Meuse South - we took the time off to think about the way back.

So here it is:
𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄!
From the source of the Moselle in Bussang, we will follow this river North:
➡️ through Nancy,
➡️ past the vineyards near Grevenmacher,
➡️ all the way to Koblenz, where the Moselle meets the Rhine.

Same idea, same spirit:
beautiful landscapes, flowing rivers, relaxed riding, and those small moments that make a ride special.

What started as a 50th birthday ride along the Meuse is slowly turning into a full river adventure for 2026… 🎂🏍️🤣

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞… 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝!🏍️✨

With the holidays behind us, the maps are back on the table and the planning for our 2026 rides has officially started.

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐧𝐞.
In April, we want to celebrate Muriel’s 50th birthday by following the River Meuse (Maas) from north to south.
We start where the river enters the Netherlands, in Eijsden – the place where Muriel lived from her first years until she was 22 – and we ride all the way to the source of the Meuse in France.

𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬?
Beautiful landscapes, winding roads, small towns, valleys, history… and of course, lots of great riding. We want to discover everything in between, the Quazy Rides way.

And don’t worry…
Plan number two is coming soon, because yes – we also need to ride back to the Netherlands 😉

Took our Benelli (we call her Elli🥰) for service at Joppen Motoren this morning… and, well… I accidentally on purpose took it for a “quick” test spin afterward. 😇🏍️
Had to make sure my new Richa suit and Gerbing: Leading in Heated Clothing heated gear were working properly, right?

Spoiler: a perfect combination — both me and Elli were basically on fire out there. 🔥😂

When the forecast said “sunshine Friday and Saturday,” we just couldn’t resist.🏍

From our home through the "Dutch Mountains" into the Belgian Ardennes — the roads, the light, and the autumn colours were simply perfect.

We stayed the night in Verviers and enjoyed a quiet evening before heading back home again on some more amazing roads.

Over 450 km of pure November happiness on two wheels🍂🍁🪾 🏍️❤️
