🇳🇱 TVTAS UPDATE > LET IT GO, LET IT FLOW 🤙

Every year, the same big question… WHEN are we doing this legendary tour along the islands?!

This year, I’m letting it go. Easy decision? Definitely not! But after our experience in 2024, the weather, crew and preparation all need to come together before we say: LET’S GO!

I’ve written about the decision, this year’s opportunities and what we’re working on for next year. More trained rescue crew, better screening and new safety gear. 💪

FINAL UPDATE — END OF SEASON WITH KITECREW FRIESLAND

Tomorrow from 15:00 at Camping Welgelegen. Curry by Sergeant Pepper, music, drinks & good vibes. Tickets and camping spots are still available — hotel rooms are limited.

There might be wind too, so keep an eye on the Kitecrew Fryslân WhatsApp group for the latest kite action at Mirns.

Friends!

What. A. Season.

So many amazing events, kite sessions, new friends, parties, progression, adventures and just really good times together.

The Dutch summer is running out of time and winter is slowly coming in.

For KiteActive that means GOOD NEWS, because soon we’re migrating south again. Brazil, Zanzibar, Nicaragua… and of course we’ll be chasing some snow as well.

BUT FIRST…

One last weekend together with all our kitesurf friends in Friesland!

This Saturday we’re getting the Frisian Kitecrew together at one of our all-time favourite places: Camping Welgelegen.

And looking at the forecast right now, you probably won’t find us at the beach this weekend… you’ll find us at Welgelegen!

But we don't care. Because we are Active and there is always something fun to do in Friesland.

Good people.
Good food.
Music.
Drinks.
Activities.
And who knows… maybe some wind after all.

And IF the wind does decide to show up… Flysurfer crew, are you ready to join us for one last epic session of the season? 👀

This weekend, KiteActive is making history! 🏴‍☠️

We’ve always talked about it: sailing and kiting around the Dutch islands with TWO boats. This Friday, it’s happening!

50 pirates are setting sail from Friesland, and who knows where the wind will take us? ⛵️

The wind gods seem to be on our side, because there’s a real chance of a TVTAS downwinder this weekend! We’ll make the final call tomorrow at 14:00, based on the latest forecasts. 🌬️

We can’t wait for this absolute banger of a weekend. Kitesurfing in Holland at its finest. That’s for sure!
