Phileas Fogg did it mostly by land, but safely and comfortably around the world by boat?
DMS Holland recommends the DMS MagnusMaster. This system is unique and specially designed for low-speed motor yachts. It works on the basis of the Magnus effect and provides the highest stability at speeds between 3 and 12 knots. 11, 12 en 13 april is de voorjaarseditie van Motorboot Sneek, met wederom een ruim aanbod aan nieuwe en jong gebruikte motorjachten. DMS Holland is op de gebruikelijke locatie bij De Valk Yacht Brokers te vinden, waar op vrijdag Ulbe Zuiderbaan van Zuiderbaan Totaal Service, op zaterdag Patrick Noor en op zondag Rens van Hal aanwezig zullen zijn. 11, 12 and 13 April is the spring edition of Motorboot Sneek, with once again a wide range of new and young used motor yachts. Another milestone for DMS Holland!

After last year’s prototype phase, this week marks the installation and successful first test run of the production DMS All-in-One in Mallorca. The installation was carried out in close collaboration with the captain and Amiral Yacht Services, a trusted dealer and partner of DMS Holland.

The entire installation process was carefully prepared by our Director R&D, Arnold van Aken, and completed in just a few days. Motor yacht Hush is now equipped with optimal stabilisation at any speed – for true peace of mind and comfort on board. Meanwhile, several DMS AiO systems are already in production, with many more to follow.

Weer een mijlpaal voor DMS Holland!

Na de prototypefase vorig jaar is deze week de eerste productieversie van de DMS All-in-One geïnstalleerd en succesvol getest op Mallorca. De installatie is uitgevoerd in nauwe samenwerking met de kapitein en Amiral Yacht Services, een vertrouwde dealer en partner van DMS Holland.

De volledige installatie is voorbereid door onze Director R&D, Arnold van Aken en in slechts enkele dagen voltooid. Motorjacht Hush is nu uitgerust met optimale stabilisatie bij elke snelheid – voor gegarandeerde rust en comfort aan boord. Ondertussen zijn meerdere DMS AiO-systemen in productie en zullen er nog vele volgen.

Wij merken steeds meer dat nieuwe jachteigenaren, net als de eigenaar van deze boot, na enkele jaren varen op de binnenwateren, zich steeds meer aangetrokken voelen tot het open water. En met een DMS Magnusmaster kan dit ook op een veilige en comfortabele manier.

Ook afgelopen jaar zijn er weer tientallen jachten voorzien van een DMS MagnusMaster stabilisatiesysteem. Bij een flink aantal daarvan was eerder al de voorbereiding hiervoor getroffen door de jachtwerf. Wij zien dat de kosten voor een dergelijke installatie erg voordelig zijn wanneer de fundatie, bus en bekabeling al is voorbereid door de jachtwerf.

Deze maand worden opnieuw diverse systemen ingebouwd, waarbij u geheel vrijblijvend een kijkje kunt nemen. Dit kan in Kerkdriel bij DMS Holland maar ook bij: Zuiderbaan Totaal Service, Aquanaut Yachting Sneek, MariTeam Yachting en Boarnstream Yachting.

We are increasingly noticing that new yacht owners, like the owner of this boat, are increasingly attracted to the open water after several years of sailing on inland waterways. And with a DMS Magnusmaster, this can also be done in a safe and comfortable way.

Again last year, dozens of yachts were fitted with a DMS MagnusMaster stabilisation system. A good number of them had previously been prepared for this by the shipyard. Na het succes van eerdere edities worden ook dit jaar weer de Boarnstream Yachting Days gehouden. Op 7, 8 en 9 maart kunt u op de werf in Jirnsum terecht om een uitgebreid aanbod van jachten te bezichtigen. Op vrijdag 7 maart is tevens de Nederlandse premiere van de Marex 440 Scandinavia.

After the success of previous editions, the Boarnstream Yachting Days will be held again this year. On 7, 8 and 9 March, you can visit the yard in Jirnsum to view a wide range of yachts. Friday 7 March will also see the Dutch premiere of the Marex 440 Scandinavia.

Trawlerfest Fort Lauderdale
From March 4-8 is the first Trawlerfest of 2025 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. DMS Holland is pleased to be a sponsor of this great event again this year. The DMS booth will again feature demo models of the DMS MagnusMaster, DMS Universal and DMS ARG.

The Dubai International Boat show starts Wednesday 19 February. Until the 23rd, the region's largest marine and luxury lifestyle show can be visited at Dubai Harbour. Onlangs werd, na een uitgebreide retrofit door Balk Shipyard in samenwerking met naval architect Mulder Design, MY Ursus te water gelaten. De meest opvallende verandering is de verlenging van het jacht met maar liefst zes meter.

Een van de vele upgrades is de installatie van de DMS Universal, waardoor het vinsysteem weer volledig up-to-date is en optimaal functioneert. Daarnaast is het jacht uitgerust met de DMS MagnusMaster, waardoor het ook bij lagere snelheden perfect gestabiliseerd blijft.

Recently, following an extensive retrofit by Balk Shipyard in collaboration with naval architect Mulder Design, MY Ursus was launched. The most notable change is the lengthening of the yacht by a whopping six metres.

One of the many upgrades is the installation of the DMS Universal, bringing the fin system back fully up-to-date and functioning optimally. In addition, the yacht has been fitted with the DMS MagnusMaster, keeping it perfectly stabilised even at lower speeds.

Steve en Cindy Covington zijn erg tevreden met de installatie van de DMS Universal als update van het besturingssysteem van de vinstabilisatoren op hun Selene 53 MY Kallisto. Niet alleen zijn alle problemen die het oude systeem gaf opgelost, maar ook het stabiliseren van de boot werkt veel soepeler. In de video vertelt Steve over de installatie en hoe geweldig het systeem werkt. Veilig naar de Bahama's varen zal geen probleem meer zijn.

Steve and Cindy Covington are very happy with the installation of the DMS Universal controller system update of the Fin stabilizers on their Selene 53 MV Kallisto. Not only are all the issues with the old system solved, but also stabilizing the boat works much smoother. In the video Steve talks about the installation and how great the system works. Sailing safely out to the Bahama’s won’t be a problem anymore.

From Friday, January 31 to Saturday, February 8 is the Seattle Boat Show. At this show our dealer for the Pacific Northwest of the USA, Waterline Boats LLC, will be present with a demo of the DMS MagnusMaster as well as the DMS Universal.

There is an Elling E4 present with a DMS MagnusMaster on board. On this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8hHeXMu8fI) an impression of the installation of the system done by Waterline Boats. So if you visit the Seattle Boat show, a visit to the Waterline booth (East 705) is definitely worthwhile.

Oktober 2022 was het begin van de laatste fase in de ontwikkeling van de DMS All-in-One, ons stabilisatiesysteem voor elke snelheid. MY Buitenkansje ging toen uit het water voor de installatie van de eerste versie, het proof of concept. Na de presentatie op de DMS Experience Days in november 2023 is het systeem verder doorontwikkeld en nu klaar om in de markt gezet te worden. Het eerste systeem werd verkocht aan Van den Hoven Jachtbouw en de eerste installatie zal begin 2025 plaatsvinden op MY Hush, een 20 meter Royal Huisman. October 2022 marked the beginning of the final phase in the development of the DMS All-in-One, our stabilisation system for any speed. MY Buitenkansje (Opportunity) went out of the water to install the first version, the proof of concept. After the presentation at the DMS Experience Days in November 2023, the system was further developed and is now ready to be put on the market.
