It’s hard to describe the feeling when you first turn the corner and see Rocamadour hanging from the cliffs. Even after visiting so many times, it still takes our breath away.

We spent the day walking through the ancient stone alleys, looking at all the small architectural details, and just taking in the view over the canyon. It’s one of those places where time really seems to slow down.

If you’re planning a trip to the Lot or Dordogne region, make sure to add this spot to your list. It’s completely worth the walk up.
