Entering the Chobe National Park at Mababe Gate. Take the Sandridge Road or the Marsh Road to Savuti depending on the season! In general: "green season" = Sandridge and "dry season" = Marsh.

The friendly ranger at the gate will be happy to explain it to you!

Breakfast at the Xakanaxa Campsite... this big guy is a local resident and is used to self drive campers!

Wild dogs hunting at Savuti (Sandridge Road). Just outside the gate we picked up this pack hunting impala. The pack works together and they make as a team clever use of the open road in combination with chasing impala's through the long grass. We counted at least 12-14 dogs. Difficult to film but managed to get some shots from the bonnet! It always pays off to start your morning game drive as early as possible!

About and hour later we found them on a kill. Surrounded by safari vehicles....
