The phenomenon of rental holiday waters has grown explosively in the last decade and not without good reason as there are so many anglers looking for that special fishing adventure in Europe whether its the hunt for a fish of a lifetime or a relaxing week in

warmer climates. It is now with the Internet we can find waters at the click of the button, however this does not guarantee a water you have found for your fishing holiday will perfectly meet the expectations of your party and yourself. 💥 Carplake Rosmalen💥 The Netherlands

On March 31st,2025, Carplake Rosmalen officially opened its doors for the very first time! Behind the scenes, a tremendous amount of hard work went into perfecting every detail.
Carp Lake Rosmalen has truly lived up to expectations in its opening year. The stock has developed beautifully. Some of the smaller fish have been removed and several large commons have been added. The lake now holds a wonderful mix of mirror, common, and koi carp, weighing up to just over 45lbs!

The accommodation is excellent as well. It features two bedrooms, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful covered veranda directly by the lake.

Thanks to the luxury accommodation, it’s also perfectly suited for winter fishing.

There are still a few spots available for 2026, so be quick before its fully booked!!

💥Les Étangs de la Crolée 🇫🇷💥 France

Luxury accommodation in a prime location 🏡

In the heart of western France lies the stunning estate of Les Étangs de la Crolée. The domain spans a total of 35 acres and is fully enclosed. It features two lakes, each available for exclusive rental: Crolée Bas and Crolée Haut.
Etang Crolée Bas

This lake covers 6,5 acre and has one centrally located, spacious swim, suitable for a maximum of 3 anglers. The luxury safari tent accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children. The lakebed consists of silt, clay, and sand, with a maximum depth of 11 ft. Around 160 carp inhabit the lake, including stunning fully scaled, linear, and ghost carp. The current lake record exceeds 58lb 🐳.

Etang Crolée Haut

Slightly smaller at 5,5 acre, this lake also has one centrally located, spacious swim, accommodating up to 3 anglers. The luxury safari tent offers space for 4 adults and 2 children. The lakebed consists of silt, clay, and sand, with a maximum depth of 12 ft. Approximately 110 carp swim here, including beautiful fully scaled, linear, and ghost carp. The lake record currently stands at nearly 60lb 🐳.

Luxury Safari Tents

The safari tents are spacious and well-equipped. They include a kitchen with an indoor and outdoor dining table, as well as a living area. The fully equipped kitchen contains all necessary appliances. There are two bedrooms:

One with a double bed
One with two single beds

Above the play area, there is an additional sleeping space for children. Each lake has its own bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.

For fishing, a boat is provided, but you must bring your own electric motor, batteries, and depth finder.

🐟Lot of Carp 🐟 Boat Experience 🇫🇷💥 France

Lot of Carp is located in Albas, a picturesque village in the most beautiful part of the Lot region. We primarily rent out our boats between Cahors and Fumel. From this area, you set out in search of the great river monsters 🐳. Other sections of the river can be chosen upon consultation. You can park your car with us.

Our Aluvation 700 is a very luxurious carp fishing boat, designed by us in collaboration with Aluvation Craftsmanship. Special consideration has been given to the modern carp angler (and their partner) who desires more comfort. Our boats are equipped with hot water, a toilet, and a shower, ensuring a true holiday experience.

The owner and fishing guide is Dutch but speaks very well English. He has been fishing on the river Lot for years, accumulating a wealth of knowledge about the river, including water levels, currents, seasonal fishing techniques, and especially the carp population in each river section. Each section is different, varying in length, depth, type of riverbed, vegetation, and the quantity and size of carp living there.

Various renowned carp anglers have already explored the river Lot with Joachim, and successfully like Dave Levy, Alain Blair, and Darrell Peck have filmed their experiences here.

So close… 🎣😅

Some weeks stay with you forever. For Peter, last week at Karperdroom was exactly that kind of week: a mighty carp of 24.8 kg — just 200 grams shy of his personal best of 25 kg, which has stood proudly for years. For a moment there was real hope… but that record carp will have to wait a little longer. 😉 And he wasn't the only one celebrating, because several 20+ fish hit the mat too.

At Carpdream (Karperdroom) in Herpen you have the entire water — nearly a full hectare — all to yourself. No crowds, no other anglers, just you, your company, and a stock full of beautiful carp up to 28 kg. In the evenings all you'll hear is the birds, the rustling trees and… the splash of a carp that was just a little too big for someone else.

💥 Little Christoph 💥 France

Location with accommodation 🏡

In northern France, just 245 miles from Calais, lies the stunning estate of Little Christoph. The lake covers 4 acres, reaches depths of up to 21 ft, and features various characteristics such as a lily field, a fallen tree in the water, and several slopes. A well-maintained accommodation is located right at the lake, allowing you to fish directly from the house.

The fish stock is truly stunning, with carp reaching up to 68lb! 🐳. However, this lake is best suited for the experienced carp angler.

💥 L'Anodonte 💥🇫🇷 France

Located in northern France, just 247 mls from Calais, L'Anodonte is a beautiful and easy-to-fish 2 acre lake. With consistently high catch rates, it's the perfect destination for a father-and-son fishing trip or a fun social session with your fishing buddies.

L'Anodonte is home to over 200 carp, with an average weight of around 28 lbs. The lake holds commons, mirrors, koi carp, and stunning fully-scaled mirror carp. The largest fish weighs an impressive 51 lb+. Both boats and bait boats are allowed, and the lake reaches depths of approximately 7,5 to 9 foot.

The lake has an elongated layout with a simple wooden chalet at one end. At the opposite end, there is a second swim with space to set up a bivvy. On-site facilities include a basic outdoor shower and a toilet.

Although the lake is only 2 acre, its shape makes it ideal for 2 to 4 anglers. Even better—you'll have the entire lake exclusively to yourselves! 😉🎣

Etang Ulysse is located in the Champagne region of France. This former gravel quarry, spanning 9 acre, offers luxury accommodations and an impressive stock of fish. The average fish weight is around 28 lb, but catches of well over 44 lb are frequent. The largest fish currently weighs more than 60 lb 🐳. For anglers who enjoy fishing from different spots, multiple bivvy swims have been created. The accommodation provides all the comforts needed for up to 4 people.
Given the perfection of this location, bookings are filling up fast. We still have a few spots available for 2026.
