This book, “Discover the Rif”, comes to complete the photographic documentation journey that I had started more than 15 years ago and culminated in two books; the first one entitled “Rif: a living heritage”, which was published in the Netherlands and translated into the Dutch language in 2016. The second book is “The popular Hirak in the Rif: From a photographic and documentary perspective” which was published in Granada, Spain, both in Arabic and English in 2018. Unlike my previous books, this one is written in Tamazight (Berber) and English.
This publication represents an important value in its documentary aspect to introduce the natural sites of the land of the Rif. It is the first of its kind in the region where photographic works have never been documented in this way. It covers all these vast geographical areas, monuments and beautiful scenes found in the various aspects of Rif wildlife.
The book will be presented in the beginning of April 2022 in The Hague.
