𝗜𝗻 𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟱, 𝟮𝟭𝟲 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲. 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝟭 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻.

This was the top 6, as decided by an international jury.

In the end, French architect Louis Cordonnier took first prize.

Unfortunately, his design was scaled down a bit for budgetary reasons: One big tower instead of two.

Today that sobered-down design still stands, home to the International Court Of Justice International Court of Justice.
