❤️zelfde fantastische boot als waar wij mee varen!
On 15 May, 2010, 16-year-old Jessica Watson crossed the finish line at Sydney Harbour, Australia having sailed just over 24,000 miles solo and unassisted around the world, including around Cape Horn.
Her logged circumnavigtion did not venture far enough north of the equator for her journey to count as a true round-the-world sail. The orthodromic distance sailed was just over 18,000nm, less than the 21,600nm required by the World Sailing Speed Record Council.
