Even though I know the Ore Mountains like the back of my hand after living there for 15 years, their raw, untouched landscape gets me every single time. I headed back to my old stomping grounds, and that deep forest peace and wild freedom made me feel like I was discovering it all over again.

It's so worth it! 🩺👶

We have successfully completed the Advanced First Aid course for adults and children under the Netherlands Red Cross.

It was no walk in the park. First, we had to go through 20 hours of intensive online theory, where every single section ended with a strict exam that had to be passed to move forward. This was followed by 8 hours of pure hands-on practice in the classroom and a final assessment on the manikins.

We are heading home with a brand new certificate, but most importantly, with the confidence that we won't freeze in an emergency and will know exactly what to do. 💪❤️

The West Highland Way in spring is absolutely stunning. I’ve never seen such a vibrant green before! 🌿 It only rained for one day, and as a bonus, there were almost no midges to deal with.

West Highland Way – Day 5

The final stretch! I covered the last 11.8 miles (19 kilometers) into Fort William today, and the journey was nothing short of spectacular. Looking back, I managed the entire trail in just 4.5 days. I got lucky with the weather, only one day of rain and surprisingly, the midges were almost non-existent!
