Storm Corrie raast over Nederland. Vooral bij de kustgebieden zijn er flinke windstoten. Daar hebben niet alleen mensen, maar ook zeehonden last van. Door de harde wind kunnen ze sneller uitgeput raken en dus zoeken ze een plekje op het strand om uit te rusten. Kom jij een zeehond tegen? Houd dan minimaal 30 tot 50 meter afstand. Bij twijfel over de gezondheid kun je het dier melden via 144 of direct aan ons via +31 (0)595-526 526. Blijf in ieder geval niet in de buurt van de zeehond hangen, want dat levert erg veel stress op.

The strong wind can exhaust them, therefore they look for a place on the beach to rest. Do you come across a seal? Please keep a distance of at least 30 to 50 meters. If in doubt about its health, you can report the animal via 144 or directly to us via +31 (0)595-526 526. In any case, do not hang around the seal, since this causes them stress.
